March brought a wave of excitement to our Academy as we celebrated World Book Day with a fantastic array of activities that engaged and inspired our students. The day was filled with creativity and fun, allowing everyone to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of literature.

One of the highlights was The Masked Reader event, where teachers and staff donned disguises whilst reading extracts from their favourite books. Students eagerly guessed who was behind each mask.

Students had the opportunity to showcase their artistic talents by creating personalised bookmarks, which they could take home as a keepsake from the day. Our Book Scavenger Hunt was another exciting activity that had students racing around the Academy, searching for clues and hidden books. This not only encouraged teamwork but also sparked curiosity about different genres and authors.

With so many engaging activities, World Book Day 2025 was a resounding success, leaving students inspired and eager to dive into their next read. We can't wait to see what next year's celebration will bring!
