"My name is Jennifer Travis, and I am the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo) here at The Lowry Academy.
At the heart of everything we do is a strong commitment to ensuring that all students feel valued, supported and able to achieve their very best.
We recognise that every child is unique, with their own strengths, challenges and aspirations. Our aim is to provide a fully inclusive environment where students with special educational needs and disabilities are understood, encouraged and empowered to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
We work closely in partnership with students, parents and carers, staff, and external professionals to ensure that support is carefully planned, regularly reviewed and tailored to individual needs. Open communication and collaboration are central to our approach, and we believe that working together leads to the best outcomes for our students.
