This May, our Geography department has been marking the 100th birthday of Sir David Attenborough with a range of engaging and enjoyable activities for students.
Throughout the week, students got involved in creating “planet pledges,” committing to positive environmental actions, and took part in quizzes and documentary viewings to deepen their understanding of the natural world. A particular highlight was The Chase: Geography Edition, where students impressed everyone by beating Mr Ince!
The celebrations concluded with birthday cake, providing a fun and fitting end to a week that combined learning with celebration.
It has been wonderful to see so many students taking part and reflecting on the importance of looking after our planet - something Sir David Attenborough has championed throughout his lifetime.
