Our Year 10 Lowry ACES recently visited Corpus Christi College, Oxford, accompanied by Mrs Coy (Principal) and Mrs Smith. The visit provided students with a valuable insight into university life, the application process, and the financial support available.

During the day, students took part in an academic workshop focused on teaching styles and critical thinking, encouraging them to share their ideas and develop their confidence. They also enjoyed a guided tour of the college led by current student ambassadors, as well as time exploring the city.

We were extremely proud of the students, who showed outstanding engagement, curiosity, and maturity throughout. The outreach team praised them as one of the most interactive groups they have ever hosted.

The experience encouraged students to use their voice, express their opinions, and start thinking positively about their future aspirations.
